Scarborough’s noticeboard may offer some help or just speak to the locals who will tell you about drumming parties, full moon parties or street parties.

Word of mouth is often the best form of advertising.There are entertainment venues in Kalk Bay and St. James’s and Muizenberg and down at The Cape Farm there are impromtu events too. Look out for banners advertising these event.

There are movie houses in Longbeach Mall or Blue Route Mall over the mountain and of course there is the beach where anything can happen… Failing that, you could rent a video or a DVD from Titles in Kommetjie.
